Stopped in last night on my way home from a wedding, and I was glad I did: they had a keg of Troegs Nugget Nectar on the handpump, and it was just pitch-on perfect. Great beers on push tap as well. One of a few very impressive bars showing up out here in the far marches in the past couple of years.

Great food and service. Comfortable atmosphere. The best beer selection outside of Philly. Locally crafted brews, English and German imports with a huge Belgioum selection, not to mention 10 beers on tap.

Ortino's Northside is quite a surprise out here in the hills above the Perkiomen Creek. It's not much to look at from the outside, but don't let that fool you: there's a great little restaurant and bar inside. Well-kept taps (and no fear about what to put on them), attentive service, and good food make this a likely repeat stop. If you're out in this area and think you have to go closer to Philly for a good beer, well...between Ortino's, Sly Fox, and the Spinnerstown Hotel, you don't need to go anywhere else.

This is a neighborhood restaurant where you feel comfortable immediately.
Well prepared Continental menu and nightly specials, along with 12 rotating taps of fresh Belgian, German and English premium imports, but also concentrating on specialty micro's. There is also an extensive selection of bottled beers available.
